Last updated: 22 October 2026
QALA by House of Rang ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it and who we share it with. By using the website or placing an order you agree to it.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, account password (kept in a scrambled form, never in plain text) and any message you send us.
- Order details: what you ordered, the amount, the date and the delivery status.
- Technical details: a login cookie when you sign in, and basic technical information needed to run and protect the website.
How we use it
- To take, process, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them.
- To run your account and to remember your delivery address for your next order.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, to keep our accounts and records, and to meet legal and tax duties.
- To send you offers or news only if you ask for them. You can stop them at any time.
Payments
Online payments by UPI and card are handled by our payment partner Razorpay on its own secure window. We do not see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or bank password. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the payment details you give them.
Who we share it with
We share the information that is needed with: couriers and delivery partners (name, address, phone), our payment partner, our website hosting and technical service providers, and authorities or courts where the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and the website stores your shopping bag on your own device. Signing out clears the bag and saved delivery details from the device you used.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above and for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting, tax and order records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. No website or internet transfer is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account, by writing to us as shown on the Contact and Grievance page. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may keep what we must keep by law or need to settle a dispute or enforce our terms.
Children
The website is not meant for children under 18. Please do not give us a child's personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
